About AUReferralCodes
A deliberately small directory of Australian referral codes, maintained by one person, where every code is one he actually holds.
Who runs it
AUReferralCodes is run by Logan Kurtz, who has worked in digital marketing since 2012 and lives in Sydney. The codes listed are his own personal referral codes for services he uses, which is why the list is short and why it grows slowly.
That constraint is the point. A code you hold yourself can be re-tested any time. A code scraped from a forum cannot be verified at all — you have no way of knowing whether it still works without entering it, and no reason to notice when it stops.
How a code gets listed
A code only goes up after it has been entered on the provider's live sign-up form and confirmed to apply a discount. The date of that check is printed beside it on the page. When a code rotates or stops working, the listing is corrected rather than left in place, and the date only moves forward once the replacement has been tested the same way.
Every code published for a given provider stays visible in its code history, including retired ones. That makes it possible to see how often a provider rotates codes, and how recently this site has been paying attention.
What this site does not do
- It does not give financial, energy or legal advice, and nothing here is tailored to your circumstances.
- It does not claim any offer is the best available. For electricity, compare independently at Energy Made Easy.
- It does not hide that the owner is paid. Every program listed rewards both sides, and that is stated on every page rather than buried in a footer.
- It does not run ads, sponsored placements or paid rankings.
- It does not collect personal information. There is no account, no newsletter and no analytics beyond standard server logs.
Why the drawbacks are written down
Each provider page describes who the service does not suit, alongside who it does. That costs sign-ups, which is obviously against the owner's financial interest, and it is deliberate. A referral credit that lands someone on a plan that does not fit their household is a bad outcome for them and a short-lived one for everybody.
If you read the Amber page and conclude that wholesale pricing is wrong for you, that page has done its job.
Corrections
If a code has stopped working, or a detail about a provider is wrong or out of date, saying so is the fastest way to get it fixed. Accuracy is the only thing that makes a page like this worth visiting a second time.
